MDHHS Medicaid Provider Enrollment restarts revalidation process

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has restarted the provider revalidation process for Medicaid participation, effective Jan. 31, 2023. This process had been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.

When to revalidate

All providers are required to revalidate their Medicaid enrollment information at least once every five years, or more often if requested by MDHHS. MDHHS notifies providers when revalidation is required. We encourage you to keep an eye out for this communication.

How to revalidate

Visit the MDHHS webpage dedicated to CHAMPS Instructions & Information. There’s a section titled “Revalidation” with links to PDF and video instructions.
