New post-claim appeals and medical records submission process delayed
Update: Effective Mar. 25, 2020, the new process for submitting post-claim appeals and medical records is live. Providers should use the new process to submit appeals and medical records related to an existing claim (post-claim).
Last week we informed you of a change we’re making to the process for submitting appeals and medical records related to an existing claim (post-claim). This change was scheduled to go into effect on Mar. 19, 2020. The implementation of this new process has been delayed.
You should continue to submit appeals and medical records following the current process. Another update will be posted once the new process is available to start using.
