New mental wellness tool, myStrength, available to all members

On Jul. 1, we launched the full myStrength experience to all Priority Health members. This tool is for members with mild to moderate depression and anxiety. It replaces our Beating the Blues tool, which will end August 30 with referrals to the program ending June 19.

Patients currently in Beating the Blues will not automatically transition to myStrength. You must refer your patients to the tool or members can self-refer online.

How myStrength works

myStrength is a self-directed, self-help online program offering over 1,400 activities on a variety of mental wellness topics. The program was developed using evidence-based interventions including but not limited to:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Mindfulness
  • Positive psychology

Each person who signs up will have the option to opt in to having a dedicated coach while they go through the program. The purpose of coaching is to encourage positive behavioral change and improve engagement and outcomes. Coaching is not providing any clinical treatment.
