Medicaid claims rejection issue resolved

Recently, some Medicaid claims were incorrectly rejecting due to Medicaid Claims Edit 21007. Rejected claims received the following message:

"Beneficiary has other insurance so health plan must submit other insurance payer information on the encounter"

We've resolved the issue and are now reprocessing the impacted claims.

Do providers need to rebill rejected claims?

No. Providers don’t need to rebill rejected claims which received the message above. They’ll be automatically reprocessed and paid if appropriate.
