eviCore educate and pay process extended

As our valued partner, we're focused on a relationship built on trust and transparency so together we can provide high quality, affordable health care to the communities we serve.

We greatly appreciate the feedback we've received about your experience with eviCore. We're using this input to build a better experience for you and your patients. However, it's taking us longer than planned.

"Educate and pay" extended beyond Dec. 31

We're going to extend "educate and pay" into early 2018. This means our processes will remain the same beyond December 31. You'll need to continue to request authorizations, but no musculoskeletal or advanced imaging services will be denied based on clinical criteria. Peer-to-peer reviews also remain suspended. Learn more about educate and pay.

Our goal is to give you and our members an improved experience, which is why we're asking for your continued patience and support of "educate and pay" into the new year. We do not want to rush into a new process and risk a bad experience for you and your staff.

In early 2018, we will outline our path forward that will improve the experience and correct many of the clinical, service and operational concerns we have all been experiencing.

Thank you, again, for your continued support and patience.
