Priority Health is partnering with FeelSafe Wireless, a Michigan-based wireless company offering the Federal government benefit cell phone program Lifeline, to connect current Medicaid members with free cell phones and free monthly service. This initiative was created to help Medicaid members stay on top of their health care needs.

How does the program work?

FeelSafe Wireless offers free name brand Smartphones and free monthly service, which currently consists of 1,000 free minutes, 500 texts, and 4.5 gigabytes of data every month.

The Emergency Benefit Broadband (EBB) Program is temporary and was designed to help households struggling to pay for internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, FeelSafe Wireless will be offering:

  • Unlimited talk and text
  • 15 gigabytes of additional data monthly

Lifeline benefits are available to consumers who use government assistance programs such as Medicaid or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Priority Health's primary goal is to ensure that all our members have access to high-quality care and to live healthier and happier lives. By signing up for a free cell phone through FeelSafe Wireless, Medicaid members can easily contact their health care providers and stay on top of their medical needs.
