Assist America: Global emergency help

Assist America® provides global emergency medical services for you and your dependents. If someone becomes ill or injured while traveling more than 100 miles from home or is in a foreign country, Assist America provides support with medical referrals, monitoring, evacuation, repatriation and much more.

Travel coverage with an HMO plan

With an HMO plan, you have to have a primary care physician (PCP) and in-network coverage. If you go to a doctor, rather than an urgent care or emergency center that is not in-network, you will pay 100% of the cost of your care.

If you are 100 miles or more away from your home and PCP, Assist America will take care of any emergency or urgent care visits while you're away.
