LAST CHANCE: 5 actions to take before the new Provider Portal launches on September 1

The new Provider Portal for Priority Health is replacing prism on September 1, and registration is now open for all users. We have five actions for you to take today if you haven’t already:

  1. Request a new Provider Portal account
  2. Consider holding any further non-urgent requests on prism
  3. Sign up for Provider Portal training
  4. Browse and bookmark our portal resources
  5. Be prepared for any gaps in access if you’re not on the new portal by Sept. 1

Request a new Provider Portal account

If you haven’t yet requested an account, do so today by going to our portal onboarding page and following the instructions there. Don’t wait until Sept. 1. There’s a waiting period for account request approval, so requesting an account the day of will mean a gap in access.

Consider holding any further non-urgent requests on prism

Any open/pending items, including inquiries, claims, authorization requests, disputes/appeals and enrollment/credentialing requests won’t be visible in your Provider Portal account until they’re resolved. We’re still committed to completing these requests according to previously stated turnaround times, but if you’d rather retain visibility into them while they’re being worked on, we recommend holding off on submitting anything non-urgent/post-service until you can do so on the new portal beginning Sept. 1.

Sign up for Provider Portal training

Portal training webinars have begun, but there are still a number of opportunities to sign up or view recordings of past events. Check out our trainings, organized by role type, here

Be prepared for any gaps in access if you’re not on the new portal by Sept. 1

Although the portal is the easiest way of working with us, we have alternative processes that you can use if you find yourself waiting for access on Sept. 1:

  • Authorizations: For urgent requests only, you may complete authorization requests via fax, using the forms on our website for out-of-network providers. Please hold all non-urgent requests until you have portal access.
  • Member eligibility and claim status: Beginning Sept. 1, you can use the Provider Portal to check member eligibility and claim status without logging in. Go to provider.priorityhealth.com and refer to the pre-login functionality user guide linked above.
  • Enrollment requests, inquiries, appeals/disputes and other requests: Please hold off on these until you have requested and received Provider Portal access. If anything is urgent, you may call our Provider Services line at 800.942.4765 (Mon.-Thurs. 7:30-5; Fri. 9-5).
