Updated timelines for our payment process change

We recently announced that we postponed the payment process updates with ECHO Health Inc. (“ECHO”) until Jan. 1, 2027, to align with the new launch date of our Provider Portal powered by Epic.

For dates of service through Dec. 31, 2026, your Priority Health payments and remittance advices will continue to be delivered as they are today, with delivery via ECHO beginning with 2027 dates of service. Any enrollments or updates you made with ECHO that differ from your current setup with Priority Health will not take effect until Jan. 1, 2027.

How does the delay impact you?

SituationImpact
Providers getting EFT / ERA from Priority Health (including those that enroll with us by Nov. 30)

We’re working with ECHO to get you enrolled automatically with their no-fee EFT option and establish your ERA / 835 connection for uninterrupted delivery starting Jan. 1, 2027.

When you get enrolled with them depends on when you enroll in EFT / ERA with us:

  • Enrolled by early May: Data migration to ECHO is complete. You should have received a letter confirming your set up was successful or letting you know they need more information to get you enrolled.
  • Enrolled by Sept. 30: Data migration to take place in October. Look for a letter from ECHO by early November.
  • Enrolled by Nov. 30*: Data migration to take place in December. Look for a letter from ECHO by the end of the year.

To confirm your EFT / ERA enrollment, call ECHO Card Services at 833.202.5918

*Note: Nov. 30 is the last date to enroll in EFT / ERA with us directly. Starting Dec. 1, you must enroll through ECHO.

Providers getting paper checks from Priority Health

Paper check payments are available through ECHO. You must opt out of virtual credit card (VCC) payments to get them.

If you’ve already opted out, you’re all set.

If you haven’t opted out yet and want to:

  • Call anytime: Call ECHO Card Services at 833.202.5918 for help opting out anytime.
  • Opt-out online before Jan. 1: You’ll need a TIN-specific code, assigned to you by ECHO. Providers enrolled with us by May 2026 should have received their code in the mail, while providers enrolled with us since May will receive their code in early November. Use it to opt out before Jan. 1 at echovcards.com/letter. (Call ECHO with questions.)
  • Opt-out online after Jan. 1: If you get a VCC payment after Jan. 1, you can use the payment information to opt out online and request a new payment method at echovcards.com.

Dual payment operations

There will still be a period of dual payment operations with this transition. Where your payments are issued from will depend on the date of service on your claim:

Date of servicePayment / RA source
On / before Dec. 31, 2026Via Priority Health's legacy system
On / after Jan. 1, 2027Via ECHO Health Inc

After Jan. 1, 2027, for up to 12 months, you may receive payments / RAs from both systems and by more than one method, depending on how to set up your payments with ECHO.
