As part of the Priority Health Medical Record Review (MRR) process, we’re sending out requests to some providers in our Medicare and Medicaid networks for PriorityMedicare Dual Premier members. Follow the instructions in the letter to return all requested medical records within 30 days.
What’s the Medical Record Review process?
The MRR process is required by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and helps ensure that your patients, our members, are getting the right care at the right time, in accordance with the specific requirements of our HIDE-SNP plan, PriorityMedicare Dual Premier.
Is patient confidentiality protected in MRR?
Yes, as always, our work with you follows HIPAA requirements, and our fax process is a secure way to share medical records.
