Effective Oct. 1, 2026, Emerging Therapy Solutions (ETS) will be Priority Health’s exclusive vendor for bone marrow transplants, organ transplants and CAR T-cell and gene therapies. This will be in effect across all lines of business, now including Medicare and Medicaid.
What’s changing?
ETS is already contracted with the hospitals in our network for transplants and gene and cell therapy for Priority Health commercial members. The only thing that’s changing is that this will now include Medicare and Medicaid members as well.
What do providers need to do?
ETS will reach out to all Michigan hospitals they’re currently contracted with about expanding the agreement to include Medicare and Medicaid.
Why is Priority Health making this change?
Our initiative to make ETS our exclusive vendor for commercial members has been successful. It’s made the process of navigating specialized, complex and constantly changing transplants and gene and cell therapies easier for both our providers and members. By expanding our partnership with ETS, we’re extending those benefits to all members and the providers who work with them.
What happens if a hospital doesn’t have a contract with ETS by October 1?
For providers not contracted with ETS for Medicare and Medicaid by Oct. 1, 2026, ETS will perform Single Case Agreement (SCA) negotiations for services rendered by a non-contracted facility or provider. SCAs will not affect member benefits or the amount the member is responsible for.
