Priority Health is making updates to our Medicare Advantage plan offerings for the 2027 plan year beginning Jan. 1, including the introduction of two new plans and changes to plan availability in Northern Michigan. Providers should be aware of these changes when serving Priority Health Medicare members in 2027.
New in 2027
Two new HMO-POS plans will be available in 2027:
- PriorityMedicare Align is designed for members who receive the Medicare Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS) who live in the southern half of the Lower Peninsula. The plan has no in-network medical deductible. Its premium and prescription drug deductible are fully covered by LIS for eligible members. Supplemental benefits are designed to support the specific needs of members with LIS. However, members who don’t qualify for LIS can still enroll in this plan—they’ll just need to cover the premium and prescription drug deductible on their own.
- PriorityMedicare Latitude is a $0 premium plan for members in the northern half of the Lower Peninsula.
Plans being retired in 2027
PriorityMedicare Vital and PriorityMedicare Vintage will no longer be offered in 2027. Both plans will close without members being automatically enrolled in another plan.
There are also changes to plan availability in Northern Michigan, where PriorityMedicare Key, Thrive, Thrive Plus and Edge will no longer be offered. While members on these plans will not be automatically enrolled in another plan, they’re welcome to enroll in Latitude or one of the premium plans being offered in Northern Michigan.

- Thrive Plus (PPO)
These changes are effective for the 2027 plan year beginning Jan. 1. Please verify a member’s eligibility and benefits before providing services.
