Both CSI group plans include:
- Lower annual out-of-pocket max than individual plans
- Dental coverage which is the same as the coverage you had when you were an active CSI employee Download brochure
- Extras like a free fitness membership with One Pass®.
- Optional vision coverage which is the same coverage as active CSI employees; this may only be added during open enrollment in the summer Download
- A monthly premium of either $241.90 for single coverage or $479.48 for a couple in the HMO plan OR $393.67 for single coverage or $783.01 for a couple in the HMO-POS plan
Please note: if you choose not to continue with the CSI group plan after you retire, you will not have the opportunity to join our group again in the future.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Age 65 years or older and reside in Michigan
- Retire from active employment with a school that participates in the CSI health Insurance plan at age 65 or older
- Covered for health benefits in the CSI Insurance plan immediately prior to retirement
- Covered under the group health plan offered by a CSI Insurance participating member (including but not limited to the CSI Insurance Plan) for 3 years immediately prior to retirement
