Michael Jasperson named Priority Health East Region Vice President

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - August 1, 2016) Priority Health, one of Michigan's largest health plans, announced today that Michael Jasperson has been named the new East Region vice president. Jasperson will oversee business development, sales and product growth in southeast Michigan. He assumed his new responsibilities on July 18.

"Michael's extensive background in business development and proven sales execution make him the best candidate to lead operations in the region where we see so many opportunities for growth," said Marti Lolli, senior vice president of commercial markets for Priority Health. "He has key industry relationships and will be a critical asset to help drive our new business strategy in southeast Michigan."

Most recently, Jasperson was the vice president business development, chief marketing officer for Hospice of Michigan leading sales and marketing strategies for the state-wide organization. Prior to that, Jasperson was regional sales manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan where he led a team charged with establishing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, the Michigan Health & Hospital Association and other health institutions in Michigan.

Jasperson was a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Michigan Board of Directors. He also is a member of the executive committee of the Greater Detroit Area Health Council. He earned a master's degree in business administration from University of Tampa, with a concentration in Health Services Administration. He also holds a Master of Science in administration from Central Michigan University. Michael received his baccalaureate degree from Michigan State University.
