Priority Health Choice earns top quality ranking from the state

(Grand Rapids, Mich. – May, 2016) Priority Health Choice was the only Medicaid plan in Michigan to earn the highest ranking in all five categories for the 2016 Medicaid Health Plan Consumer Guide.

The eleven Michigan health plans reviewed were ranked in five categories: doctor communication and service, getting care, keeping kids healthy, living with illness and taking care of women.

"Priority Health continuously evaluates our products and programs to enhance the care available for each and every member," said Wayne Wilson, senior vice president of government programs at Priority Health. "This rating validates our mission and our dedication to our members."

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) compiles this guide annually to assist people in making an informed decision when reviewing Medicaid plans. The ratings are based on an annual consumer satisfaction survey of adult enrollees, as well as results from a vendor's annual survey of the Medicaid child population.
