Priority Health announces new marketing leadership

(Grand Rapids, Mich. - June 13, 2017) Priority Health, one of Michigan's largest health plans, announced today that Krischa Winright has been named Chief Marketing and Digital Officer. Winright previously held a dual role as Chief Information Officer at Priority Health & Senior Vice President, Information Services (IS) at Spectrum Health. In her new position, she will have the same responsibilities of overseeing IS for Priority Health and IS digital development for Spectrum Health, with the addition of marketing for Priority Health and an overall focus on the customer experience.

"Krischa brings outstanding leadership and a passion for the consumer experience that is clearly visible in the innovative development of the technology platforms and tools our members use every day," said Joan Budden, President and CEO of Priority Health. "I believe this approach will lead to healthier outcomes, supporting our mission to improve the health and lives of our members."

Winright has been on the Priority Health leadership team since 1999. She was responsible for the development and implementation of tools from MyHealth and Cost Estimator, to agent quoting and enrollment tools, to e-commerce platforms. As marketing increasingly becomes a digital experience, this dual role allows Priority Health to more closely align these functions.

"I’m honored to be part of an organization that differentiates itself by continuously placing our members at the forefront, from the cost of care to the digital experience," said Krischa Winright, chief marketing and digital officer at Priority Health. "My expanded role offers the opportunity to further propel this focus, combining two worlds - marketing and information services - allowing us to continue to transform how we interact with our members."

Winright’s areas of expertise, on which she's a nationally renowned speaker, include: information technology and business applications, strategic and operational planning, leadership development, business intelligence, real-time analytics, web and mobile development, digital business and innovation models. She has a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and computer science from Calvin College. Krischa is also a graduate from the Executive Institute Leadership Program at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
