Receive PIP credit through new gaps in care campaign

At Priority Health, we share your goal to help your patients, our members, get and stay healthy. That’s why we’re excited to partner with BioIQ once again on a campaign to close gaps in care.

How does this campaign work?

Starting this week, BioIQ will send the following test kits to members who haven’t completed them this year:

  • Colorectal Cancer Screening (FIT Kit)
  • Nephropathy Screening (Microalbumin Test)
  • HbA1c Screening (Hemoglobin A1C test)

Why is this campaign important?

By addressing barriers like time and transportation, we’re helping our members stay up to date on these important screenings – getting the care they need, when they need it.

Additionally, when members return their kits, their PCPs receive PIP credit. Kits completed by Dec. 31, 2021 and claims adjudicated by Feb. 28, 2022 will apply credit to the 2021 PCP Incentive Program (PIP) program year. Kits completed after Dec. 31, 2021 will apply to the 2022 PIP program year. *Note: HbA1c results must be within range in order to receive PIP credit

In 2020, 5,377 members received colorectal cancer screening kits, with 1,113 kits returned. We hope this campaign will be successful again in 2021 as we expand to close other critical gaps in care.
