How we choose the care we cover

We aim to cover care that meets high medical standards and is cost-effective—a process called utilization management. These coverage decisions are based on the appropriateness of care, with no financial incentives tied to denials. For questions about this process, call our Customer Care team at 888.975.8102 (TTY 711).

Happy and healthy at every age

From birth through early adulthood, regular well-child visits are essential to support your child’s development—and the best part is, they’re covered at no cost to you!

At your child’s next visit, ask if their immunizations are up to date. These helpful resources explain why keeping up with immunizations matters. If you're facing challenges that make it hard for your child to get vaccinated, let us know by taking this survey

Why choose a Patient-Centered Medical Home?

Safer births start with smarter care

Many hospitals use Patient Safety Bundles—evidence-based steps that help prevent complications and improve outcomes for moms and babies. These bundles help care teams ensure every birth is handled with consistency and care. As your health plan, we’re committed to supporting safer births. We do this by working with providers to share education and training that reduces preventable maternal complications.
