You deserve quality care
Our goal is to provide you with quality services and care. Our quality improvement program helps us meet quality standards, which is why we’re accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). You may ask for our most recent summary of achievements from our Quality program by calling the Customer Service number on your ID card. View the Michigan Medicaid Consumer Product Guide to see how our Medicaid health plans perform in every area of care.
How we choose the care we cover
We aim to cover care that meets high medical standards and is cost-effective—a process called utilization management. These coverage decisions are based on the appropriateness of care, with no financial incentives tied to denials. For questions about this process, call our Customer Care team at 888.975.8102 (TTY 711).
Language support at no cost to you
Need help speaking with us or your provider in another language? We offer interpreter services and can translate printed materials into other languages at no cost to you. We follow all federal and state laws to ensure language access for everyone. Call 800.942.0954 (TTY 711) for support.
Helping you get the best care
Clinical practice guidelines are tools that help ensure you get up-to-date medical care. We ask providers to use these guidelines when treating you. You can view them at the link below or by requesting a copy from our Customer Care team at 888.975.8102 (TTY 711).
Protect yourself from fraud, waste and abuse
Medicaid has rules to help protect you and your benefits. Understanding these rules helps prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. If you notice something suspicious, report it to Priority Health or the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).
Get your no-cost flu shot
Flu season is here—time to roll up your sleeve! Your Priority Health Medicaid plan covers flu shots at no cost to you. You can get one from your health care provider or a participating pharmacy. Learn more about flu prevention at the link below.
Expecting a baby or have a little one under 1?
If you’re pregnant or have a baby under one year old, the Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP) is here to help—at no cost to you! You’ll get support from nurses, social workers and dieticians right in your home. The program covers everything from prenatal care and breastfeeding to safe sleep and emotional well-being. Learn more at the link below.
Happy and healthy at every age
From birth through early adulthood, regular well-child visits are essential to support your child’s development—and the best part is, they’re covered at no cost to you!
At your child’s next visit, ask if their immunizations are up to date. These helpful resources explain why keeping up with immunizations matters. If you're facing challenges that make it hard for your child to get vaccinated, let us know by taking this survey.
Why choose a Patient-Centered Medical Home?
A Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is more than just a doctor—it’s a team of professionals that coordinates your care, from checkups to chronic condition management. With a PCMH, you’ll get easier access to appointments and a personalized care plan. Use our Find a Doctor tool, click Advanced Search and filter by Quality to find a PCMH provider near you.
Safer births start with smarter care
Many hospitals use Patient Safety Bundles—evidence-based steps that help prevent complications and improve outcomes for moms and babies. These bundles help care teams ensure every birth is handled with consistency and care. As your health plan, we’re committed to supporting safer births. We do this by working with providers to share education and training that reduces preventable maternal complications.
