Get started using your Priority Health benefits
Retirement is all about planning. Whether you hope to travel the world, see more family, learn a new hobby or simply relax, you'll need to be prepared. When it comes to your health plan, we want to help you navigate your options. Our Medicare plans include helpful tools and resources, along with a strong network of providers. Follow the links below to learn more about how we can prepare you for your journey ahead.
Finding doctors, hospitals and pharmacies
While you're in the Priority Health service area, we ask that you use participating doctors and hospitals. You can search for providers in the network by using our online Find a Doctor tool.
Find a doctor in Michigan who participates with Priority Medicare.
Care wherever you go
We know our members like to travel, and we want to make sure you're covered while you do. In the case of a medical emergency, your coverage is the same whether you're here at home, in another state or even another country.
You have a travel benefit, which means you'll pay in-network costs for care when you visit any Medicare-participating provider in the United States outside of the lower peninsula of Michigan. We've made things easier for you by adding MultiPlan® Medicare Advantage network access to help you find providers when seeking care outside of the lower peninsula of Michigan. That means, when you travel your coverage travels with you. You're also covered worldwide for emergency and urgent services, and you have Assist America® for global emergency travel assistance.
Find a provider who participates with Original Medicare when you are outside of the lower peninsula of Michigan.
Prescription coverage
You may use our online Approved Drug List to see if your current prescriptions are covered by your plan. The approved drug list, also known as a formulary, determines how prescriptions will be covered.
Pharmacy
Check to see if you're receiving your medication from a preferred pharmacy.
See a doctor online, anytime, with 24/7 access to virtual visits
Sometimes it's just not convenient to get to your doctor, so we make it possible to get your doctor to you. See a doctor anytime, anywhere by using your phone, tablet or laptop. Perfect for when you have a cold, headache, sinus infection and more. The best part? Virtual visits are covered at no cost.
Over-the-counter (OTC) items
Over-the-counter health purchases can really add up over time. That's why we include a quarterly allowance on both HMO and PPO plans so you can purchase thousands of health and wellness products to support your health.
- Your OTC card will come in the mail and will be automatically reloaded.
- There are several convenient ways to buy health items: shop in-store at Meijer, Walmart, Kroger, CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, the Dollar General or Family Dollar; order online at www.priorityhealth.com/OTC; or purchase by phone or mail order.
- Your card will be re-loaded each quarter with your quarterly amount. Your balance will not roll over and funds expire at the end of each calendar quarter on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.
Silver Sneakers® health and fitness program
SilverSneakers includes a free fitness membership at participating SilverSneakers fitness centers, plus access to online educational programs and SilverSneakers On-Demand™ workout videos.
BrainHQ–the gym for your brain
BrainHQ is a digital brain training program. Doing exercises regularly over a period of time improves how your brain works, just like doing physical activity improves how your body works. Brain training can help with safer driving, being faster at everyday tasks and enjoying a better quality of life.
No-cost in-home bonus checkups
As a member of a Priority Health Medicare Advantage plan, you can schedule an in-home health assessment once a year. Think of this as a "bonus" checkup, intended to answer your questions and update your regular doctor.
For this assessment, a health care provider comes to you – no driving, no waiting room – and you get a comprehensive checkup at no additional cost in the comfort of your own home, the home of a friend or family member, or a location that's convenient for you. We want you to feel comfortable! You may also ask a friend or family member to be with you during your assessment.
Your participation won't affect your health plan coverage or any care you're receiving from your doctor. All of the information gathered during your health assessment may be shared with you and is sent to your regular doctor, to help you manage your care together. These visits not only help prevent health issues, they've been crucial in detecting problems before they get worse.
