Priority Health named among “America’s Best Employers” by Forbes

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — September 15, 2025) Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 million members, has been named among “America’s Best Employers for 2025” by Forbes.

Priority Health was ranked second in the top 10 Michigan-based employers category after Alro Steel of Jackson.

Through a partnership with Statista, Forbes surveyed more than 160,000 employees in all 50 states who work for companies of at least 500 people. Employees were asked if they would recommend their employer and then were instructed to evaluate their workplace based on wage parity, work culture and opportunities for advancement.

“This recognition by Forbes is a powerful affirmation of the culture we have built at Priority Health—one rooted in purpose, compassion and a shared commitment to making health care better for everyone,” said Nick Gates, interim president of Priority Health. “We know that when we invest in our team members, we are investing in better health outcomes for our members and the communities we are privileged to serve.”
