Partnership to address rise of GI disorders
(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — May 7, 2025) Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 million members, has partnered with Ayble Health to introduce a new digestive health solution that aims to address the rising prevalence of gastrointestinal (GI) disorders – a health condition that affects nearly 40% of Americans.
The new partnership with Ayble Health, a leader in personalized digestive health, gives Priority Health commercial members access to a best-in-class virtual GI clinic. The comprehensive solution offers whole-person support, unlimited access to a multidisciplinary care team and specialized tools to help members get the support they need to manage their symptoms.
"Our members' well-being is central to everything we do, and this exciting partnership with Ayble Health is a testament to our commitment to their health journey," said Alicia Coronas, vice president of employer solutions product and marketing at Priority Health. "This solution seeks to not only address physical symptoms, but also the emotional, psychological and social aspects of health. Through innovative programs like this, we are expanding access of care for our members and empowering them with the tools they need to thrive.”
The solution will guide members to better gut health through a combination of advanced nutrition support, stress management techniques, multidisciplinary care and specialized AI-enabled technology. Key elements of the program include:
- Multidisciplinary care teams consisting of providers, dietitians, psychologists, coaches and clinical pharmacists
- Transparent, proactive coordination between Ayble’s care team and the member’s provider
- Personalized nutrition plans to identify and remove trigger foods, including grocery finding technology
- Behavioral health support, including guided audio sessions, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, mindfulness, meditation and breathing exercises
- The widest suite of AI-enabled on-demand educational, skill building, and support content
“As a 12-year IBD patient, I built Ayble Health to be the support I wished had existed when I was first diagnosed,” said Sam Jactel, CEO and founder of Ayble Health. “At Ayble, our mission is to deliver life-changing multidisciplinary digestive health care that’s not only extremely effective, but also widely accessible and affordable. We’re proud to partner with Priority Health, one of the country’s most forward-thinking health plans, to expand access to personalized, evidence-based digestive care for the members who need it most.”
Starting June 1, the digestive health solution will be available as a standard benefit for Priority Health members who have a MyPriority HMO or employer health plan.
