(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — September 24, 2026) Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving 1.4 million members, has again been recognized as a top performer by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its accredited Medicare, Medicaid and commercial health plans.
In NCQA’s Medicare Health Plan Ratings 2026, Priority Health’s Medicare HMO/POS plan is one of the highest-rated health plans in the nation with a rating of 4.5 stars (out of 5).
In NCQA’s Commercial Health Plan Ratings 2026, Priority Health’s commercial HMO/POS plans and commercial PPO plan have the highest rating in Michigan, along with two other health plans, receiving 4 stars (out of 5).
In NCQA’s Medicaid Health Plan Ratings 2026, Priority Health has the top-rated Medicaid health plan in the Lower Peninsula with a 4-star rating (out of 5).

Each year, NCQA evaluates Medicare, Medicaid and commercial health plans and ranks plans based on clinical quality, patient outcomes, patient experience and efforts to continue improving. Plans are rated on a 0-5 stars scale.
The ratings were released ahead of annual and open enrollment periods. The annual enrollment period for Medicare is October 15 to December 7, 2026. The open enrollment period for individual and family health plans is November 1, 2026, to January 15, 2027.
