Priority Health appoints Celeste McIntyre as senior vice president of finance

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — November 18, 2025) Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 million members, has named Celeste McIntyre as senior vice president of finance; she had been serving in the role in an interim position since May 2025.

McIntyre has more than 25 years of distinguished experience in financial leadership, strategic planning and operational excellence within large health care organizations. Most recently, she served as senior vice president and corporate controller for Corewell Health, where she directed comprehensive finance operations, collaborated on strategic financial planning, drove operational efficiency, managed investment decisions and directed insurance and risk financing strategies for the organization.

Before her career at Corewell Health, McIntyre was a senior manager in the audit practice at Ernst & Young, where she provided audit and advisory services to clients spanning the health care, insurance, medical device and retail sectors. She has a master’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University and a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. She is also a certified public accountant.
