Brian Fedoronko, M.D. named Southeast Medical Director of Priority Health

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.; December 27, 2016) Priority Health, one of Michigan's largest health plans, announced today that Brian Fedoronko, MD, has been named the medical director for southeast Michigan. He will assume his new responsibilities on December 30, 2016 and will work from the organization's Southfield office.

In the newly created position, Fedoronko will oversee the overall clinical vision and direction in southeast Michigan. He will lead initiatives that support the southeast strategy for Priority Health such as collaborating with provider network performance team to drive clinical care management, quality improvement and utilization management initiatives within accountable care and specialty networks.

"Dr. Fedoronko’s extensive training and medical experience is the right combination of skills necessary to lead our clinical initiatives in the region where there is ample opportunity for growth"; said John Fox, MD, senior director of medical affairs for Priority Health. “With his leadership and expertise, we will continue to build on our vision of improving the health and lives of the communities we serve.

Most recently, Fedoronko served as the medical director for Huron Valley Physicians Association, leading and advising the team of medical experts in Washtenaw, Livingston, Lenawee, and Western Wayne counties. He has also had an outpatient practice in Saline, Michigan since 1998.

Fedoronko is a board member for Physicians of Michigan, St. Joseph Mercy Health Partners and St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Local Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine with a distinction in research. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan within the internal medicine and pediatrics departments. Dr. Fedoronko received his baccalaureate degree from Michigan State University in chemical engineering with honors.
