Are my drugs on the formulary?

That's one question most people have when choosing a Medicare Advantage plan. The Priority Health Medicare 2016 Formulary tells you what prescription drugs are covered. The formulary also includes each drug's "tier," or cost level.

3 ways to find out if your drugs are covered

  1. Open, save, and/or print the 2016 Priority Health Medicare Advantage Formulary booklet
This document is updated monthly. An index by drug name starts on page 80.

  2. Use the online Approved Drug List tool on this website
It's the most accurate since it's updated monthly. Check the online Approved Drug List tool now.
  3. Call our Medicare experts at 877.777.9297, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. TTY users should call 711.

If a drug you need isn't on the formulary:

  • You can get a "transition fill" from Priority Health under some circumstances when you first join this plan. Learn about transition fills in our information for plan members.
  • Once you're enrolled in the plan you can request an exception to get a drug that's not on the formulary. Here's how to ask for an exception in our information for plan members.
