Simpler patient inquiries online

Good news. In early May, our online patient inquiry tools will no longer require providers to supply two out of three pieces of information when searching.

Member data may be retrieved by all providers based on supplying one of the following:

  • Part of the last name or first name

    OR
  • Contract number

The more letters you type of the member's name, the faster your results will appear
For example, if you type only SMI in the last name box and leave the first name blank, your search will take a long time. If you type in both the first and last name, such as SMITH and WILLIAM, the search will go much faster. You must type at least two letters.

You must reaffirm your HIPAA compliance
The first time you log in on or after the website is updated, a HIPAA attestation statement will appear (and reappear annually), asking you to agree to abide by all HIPAA requirements. You must click "I agree" to be able to access our patient data online.
