MDCH Medicaid Fee Reductions

On May 1, 2007, the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) issued Bulletin MSA 07-23, notifying all providers of fee reductions scheduled to take place on June 1, 2007.

Priority Health is carefully monitoring the state budget process, which will determine if the fiscal year 2007 reductions will take effect. We have submitted comments to MDCH/Medical Services Administration regarding the devastating impact that the proposed reductions would have on our Priority Health Medicaid members and our valued provider partners.

Impact on Priority Health Fee Schedule
If the MDCH implements the program/fee reductions as proposed, it would result in an equal change to the Priority Health Medicaid fee schedule. Once a final decision has been reached, Priority Health will notify our Priority Health Medicaid providers with the exact reimbursement impact.
