Confidentiality


Documents Priority Health uses in its review and analysis of clinical and service quality improvement activities may be confidential (for example, peer review information such as individual practitioner utilization reports).  Member information is held confidential according to HIPAA regulations and appropriate releases will be obtained according to Priority Health's policies and procedures.  Senior executive staff and department directors will restrict distribution of specific confidential information and will limit its use to the appropriate Priority Health committees and staff.
