New Vs. Established Patients

A new patient has never been seen in your practice before.

An established patient:

• Has been listed on the capitation/member listing more than one month, regardless of whether or not the member has been seen as a patient in your office
• Has been seen in your practice under other insurance coverage prior to becoming a Priority Health member
  

Note: An established patient, as defined above, retains his or her status as an established patient unless you have informed him or her otherwise in writing.
