Medicaid vaccine reimbursement
Priority Health's coverage and reimbursement for children and adults is consistent with State of Michigan Medicaid billing procedures. It is currently under review; call for the most updated information.
- VFC program: Priority Health reimbursement assumes your participation in the federal Vaccine For Children (VFC) program. We update our coverage annually based on VFC updates.
- Priority Health will reimburse you for administration of vaccines available under the VFC Vaccine Replacement program. Bill both the administration code and the immunization code.
- Bill for immunizations even when no reimbursement is expected. This helps provide a record of service which ensures Medicaid patients are getting a proper level of care.
