If you're approaching 65, Medicare eligibility is just around the corner. You may be wondering exactly how it works and what it covers.

At first, Medicare can seem complex and difficult to understand. We can help. We can make Medicare easier for you by going over the differences between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans and between Medicare Part A, B, C and D. As a local resource, we offer free educational meetings at area restaurants and have a variety of Medicare-related information available.

If you discover Medicare doesn't provide the level of coverage you currently have or would like to have, we can help with this, too. Priority Health is contracted with the federal government to provide Medicare benefits1, and we offer plans that cover everything Original Medicare covers, plus more.

Plans to meet your needs

We offer three Medicare Advantage plans and a Part D prescription drug plan that provide affordable coverage. These plans are fully supported by the outstanding Customer Service you've come to expect from us.

PriorityMedicareSM, PriorityMedicare PlusSM and PriorityMedicare ValueSM are Medicare Advantage prescription drug plans that are available within our 19-county service area2. They combine medical benefits -- such as doctors' visits and hospital stays -- with Part D prescription drug coverage. These plans feature:
  • Access to your area's most trusted doctors and hospitals
  • Coverage for doctors’ visits and hospital stays
  • Coverage for preventive health care, such as annual exams and routine health screenings
  • Worldwide emergency and urgent care coverage
  • $0 deductible for prescription drugs (PriorityMedicare and PriorityMedicare Plus)
  • Virtually no paperwork
PriorityMedicare Rx is a Part D prescription drug plan that's available throughout Michigan. It offers prescription drug coverage only (no medical benefits). Features include:
  • Low copays for prescription drugs, which could deliver significant annual cost savings
  • Access to more than 60,000 pharmacies in our network, including national chains throughout the U.S.
  • Mail-order service
