If you have PriorityMedicare through your employer and haven't re-enrolled in 2007, then you'll need to call Customer Service about your benefits, or look at the Approved Drug List for 2006 on the Find Drugs page.

Benefit Upgrades and Enhancements for 2007 Medical Plans

  • The days you'll pay the $50 hospital inpatient copayment have been reduced from eight ($400) to five ($250)
  • The PCP* office visit copayment has been reduced from $15 to $10
  • Home health care copayment will be eliminated in 2007 ($10 per visit in 2006)
  • Most out-of-network cost sharing reduced from 30% to 20%
  • Your out-of-pocket maximum limits have been reduced:
    • In-network out-of-pocket maximum reduced from $2,710 to $2,000
    • Out-of-network out-of-pocket maximum reduced from $3,500 to $2,000
  • Members receive worldwide coverage for emergency and urgent care. 

Changes to Approved Drug List Tiers

The drugs on the Approved Drug List are now categorized in three tiers instead of four. The 2006 Tier 1 drugs, Loratadine, Loratadine-D and Prilosec OTC®, are not included as they are covered 100% by the plan. Generic drugs are now Tier 1 instead of Tier 2, preferred brand-name drugs are now Tier 2 instead of Tier 3, and non-preferred brand-name drugs are now Tier 3 instead of Tier 4.
