PriorityHSA: Coverage Plus HSA

Priority Health's PriorityHSASM plan combines two different benefits:
  • A Health Savings Account (HSA) that the employee owns, and
  • A high-deductible health insurance plan set up by the employer.

PriorityHSA gives employees more responsibility for their health care spending. They must pay 100 percent of the cost of health care until they have met the health plan's deductible. But that doesn't include preventive care, which is 100 percent covered when using doctors and other health care providers in the Priority Health network. And employees can use the funds in their HSA account to reimburse themselves for health care expenses.
