PriorityMedicare Key plan premium assistance
This plan has a 100% Part D premium assistance already
With PriorityMedicare Key℠, you do not need premium assistance. For this plan, Priority Health receives a subsidy from the federal government that allows us to include Part D prescription drug coverage at no cost to you. Not having to pay for your prescription drugs is considered a 100% "extra help" subsidy. This means no additional premium assistance for your Part D coverage will apply.
If you ever decide to change to a different Priority Medicare Advantage plan, other premium assistance options will be available to you.
How to find out if you qualify for getting extra help
With PriorityMedicare Key℠, you do not need premium assistance. But if you decide to purchase a Medicare plan other than PriorityMedicare Key℠, there are ways you can find out if you qualify for more assistance.
If you know you qualify for premium assistance, there is no need to apply. You automatically qualify for premium assistance if you're eligible for:
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Medicare savings progam
You may receive (or may have already received) a letter from Medicare or the Social Security Administration (SSA) about your premium assistance eligibility for this plan year.
If you have not received a letter from Medicare or the SSA, but think you may qualify for premium assistance, call:
- 1.800.MEDICARE. TTY/TDD users should call 1.877.486.2048, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- The Social Security Office at 1.800.772.1213 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. TTY users should call 1.800.325.0778.
