Guidelines
There is only one h1 tag per page, determined by what you enter as a page title.
- You can use as many h2 tags (subheadings) as you need.
- Keep headings hierarchical, using h2s for the main headings and h3s for secondary headings under the h2s, etc.
- Make headings descriptive and action-oriented to guide the reader:
Original heading: Claims
Re-written: Filing a claim
- Keep headings concise but clear
Original heading: What do I need to do to get PriorityHSA?
Re-written: Applying for PriorityHSA
- Use the page keywords in your headings to direct users to relevant content.
