Nonadherent member exclusion requests due in December

Nonadherent members are those who choose not to follow provider recommendations for care. Nonadherent member exclusion requests are due by December 31, 2011. Each request for exclusion will be granted for the current program year only. If a member remains nonadherent in subsequent years, a new request is required.

When your request is approved, the member is removed from the numerator and denominator for all PIP measures for which he or she would have otherwise qualified. You can find more information on this in the Performance Programs section of our online Provider Manual. (You must be logged in to view.)
