Update on intensive outpatient behavioral health service

Effective July 2011, behavioral health providers no longer need prior authorization to provide mental health intensive outpatient services. Inpatient treatment services still need prior authorization. These services include mental health and substance abuse inpatient and partial hospitalizations.
