Changes to 2012 Priority Health Medicare plans
The 2012 annual enrollment period is upon us – and it started much earlier this year. People who want to enroll in a Priority Health Medicare plan can do so from Oct. 15, 2011, to Dec. 7, 2011. If your patients ask what’s new in 2012, make sure they know about the earlier enrollment period. You can also tell them about the new benefits we’ve added to help them be their healthiest:
- Dental coverage has been added to PriorityMedicare ValueSM (HMO-POS), PriorityMedicareSM (HMO-POS) and PriorityMedicare SelectSM (PPO). Enhanced coverage is available for an additional fee.
- A free fitness club membership is now included in our PriorityMedicare Value, PriorityMedicare and PriorityMedicare Select plans. These Silver&Fit memberships are available at participating facilities.
- Premiums are lower for PriorityMedicare Value in all counties.
Plan changes take effect on Jan. 1, 2012. If you have patients who are interested in a Medicare Advantage plan with Part D drug coverage, a Medigap plan or a stand-alone Part D prescription drug plan, please have them call us toll-free at 888 389-6676 (TTY users should call 711), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Or they can find plan information online at prioritymedicare.com under “2012 Plans.”
