Relief for rheumatoid arthritis patients
We’re reaching out to members with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) to let them know that a diseasemodifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) may help relieve their symptoms. DMARDs have improved the symptoms, function and quality of life for most RA patients who’ve tried them, according to the American College of Rheumatology. If a member with RA is not already taking a DMARD, we want them to ask their provider if a prescription is right for them. As a result, you may notice an increase in patients calling for a DMARD prescription. Here is a list of DMARDs for quick reference.
