HEDIS outreach
As you know, we’re participating in the HEDIS
® (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) methodology of collecting, measuring and reporting performance indicators. We’ll reach out to Medicare members through automated phone calls with personalized messages related to the HEDIS measures throughout the year. These messages will encourage members to call their provider to schedule an appointment. Members also will receive a letter that includes a checklist for them to take to their appointment. As a result, you may notice an increase in member exams.
