Adolescent immunization benchmark set for 2011

When preparing the 2011 Partners in Performance (PIP) program, we were unable to provide the Adolescent Immunization measure targets because Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) national performance wasn't available. With the absence of HEDIS national performance, we set the targets based on plan performance during calendar year 2010. The targets are set at plan 75th percentile performance.

• HMO/POS 2011 Target: 60%
• Medicaid 2011 Target: 52%

Please note that we obtain data for the Adolescent Immunization measure through claims and MCIR. When working with member lists for the measure, update MCIR as needed to reflect immunization history.
