Vaccines for Children program

Under the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, free vaccines are available to children up to age 19 if they:
  • Are enrolled in the Medicaid program or,
  • Have no health insurance or no coverage of immunizations under his/her health plan or,
  • Are American Indian or Alaska Native.
Under the VFC program, vaccines are provided at no cost to the participating physician, so payment is made for vaccine administration only.
