Well women exam coverage
Priority Health Medicare Advantage plans offer coverage of both an annual physical with a PCP and a well woman exam with an alternate PCP or specialist during each plan year.
The annual physical should be billed with appropriate evaluation and management coding and is covered with a $0 office visit copay. The well woman exam — covering pap, pelvic and breast exam – should be billed with G and/or Q HCPCS in relation to the service being provided. The well woman exam will also be covered with a $0 office visit copay.
