PCMH recognition guidelines clarified

Please note that in order to qualify for the 50% bonus for Partners in Performance (PIP) 2011, the recognition from Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) must be Physician Group Incentive Plan (PGIP) Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), not just PGIP. PGIP alone will not qualify the provider for our PIP incentive. The BCBS PGIP PCMH recognition is for one year and is granted annually on July 1. You must receive a renewal of recognition effective July 1, 2011, in order to meet the PIP 2011 criteria. Proof of recognition must be submitted to Priority Health by October 31, 2011.
