Schedule mammogram and cervical cancer screenings now
Unlike most other PIP measures, mammograms and cervical cancer screenings are not a yearly
requirement. Review Patient Profile or your monthly Filemart listing and begin scheduling women for their
mammograms and/or cervical cancer screenings. Doing so now will make your life a little easier at year
end. Mammograms are measured every two years and cervical cancer screenings every three years. To
be included in the measure, the patient needs to be a Priority Health member during the measurement
period. If the service was done while the patient had other insurance, the date of service can be noted in
Patient Profile or via the Supplemental Data spreadsheet.
