ARRA, meaningful use, HITECH, HIT, EHR, EMR
Feeling confused and pressured? Have questions? Michigan Center for Effective IT Adoption (M-CEITA) has answers. Health Care Reform and the American Recovery and Reimbursement Act (ARRA) have brought attention to primary care providers’ use of Health Information Technology (HIT). If you have questions and are looking for someone to help you:
- Prepare your practice and processes for HIT implementation
- Select the best EMR/EHR/Registry for your practice and the way you work
- Deploy technology in your practice to achieve meaningful use
- Advocate for your practice with your HIT vendor
M-CEITA may be a good resource for you. There is a per provider one-time fee, but the cost to the practice for M-CEITA’s 50-60 hours of consultation and resources is offset 9-to-1 by federal dollars and grants. You may contact M-CEITA at mceita.org or 1-888-MICH-EHR (1-888-642-4347).
