Communicate test results with PCPs

Remember to send test results to the primary care provider for the patients you treat as a specialist. For example, if you are an OB/GYN provider and order a Chlamydia screening, share the results with the patient’s PCP. This will help to improve coordination of care and decrease health care costs.
