Mail order prescriptions

Priority Health members have the option of obtaining their prescriptions from Walgreens Mail Service. The mail service pharmacy will dispense the prescription exactly as you write it. If you write for a 30-day supply, they'll dispense a 30-day supply. So it's important to write for a 90- day supply of medication when your patient requests a prescription that will be filled by a mail order pharmacy.

Please be certain to provide the following information on all of your prescriptions:

• Patient's full name
• Date prescribed
• Complete drug name, strength, quantity and directions
• Number of refills
• Signature
• Cross out and initial changes
