FDA approves Prevnar-13 pneumococcal conjugate vaccine
We are now covering Prevnar-13 as indicated for active immunization of children 6 weeks through 5 years of age for the prevention of invasive disease. Prevnar-13 is recommended to be administered as a 4-dose series at 2, 4, 6, and 12 to 15 months of age.
