Updates to "associated providers" listings in online tools(Nov. 16, 2009) - Many of our Web tools for providers give the user a list of associated providers. These associations may be inactive (have been terminated or deleted, as when an associated provider leaves to go to another practice) but the association still showed up.Sometimes providers need to see the (formerly) associated provider for historical reasons. However, in many cases, seeing terminated or deleted providers is simply confusing. Effective Tues., Nov. 17, 2009 providers with inactive associations will be removed from listings in tools for which there is no historical requirement. Affected tools:
